Saturday’s Grand Opening and Party Day

A fun and work-filled weekend has zipped bye and now Monday night is here. Yes, you would be right in saying its been busy. Saturday was an especially fun and also momentous day. With a morning free for projects, I packed in a full day of web research and design work before Tom arrived at half past noon. The Result?

SpeedsterHost.com is now born!

Yes, that’s right; in near exasperation over the state of the hosting industry, today I confirmed agreements for my own hosting services and set the DNS binding to SpeedsterHost.com as my new store front. Now full-featured E-commerce hosting is available for anyone who so desires. Already three happy customers have chosen to host here.

After a marvelous morning in, Saturday afternoon was a perfect sunny summer day for being out and about and so did I fully enjoy it. The first party was in Camble and featured a high school graduation. It’s always fun to meet the relatives and extended family. Of course once you’re at a good party, you never want to leave, even if you are expected. So we ended up being two hours fashionably late for the 40-year anniversary of Woodstock’s party in Palo Alto. There the good times continued the rest of the night! I suppose I should be saying “yah man, it rocked.” As many will observe, the generational gap of the 60’s has nearly vanished as the kids of today embrace the same groovy oldies as their own favorite. Praise music for its beauty and universal power. The only difference is that today’s Woodstock’s party includes gourmet spreads of salmon and mushroom pate for appetizers followed by a full 4-course feast for supper. It’ll be interesting to see how party traditions evolve in another 40 years.
