Congrats on a marvelous triumph! Today the hikers returned from the wilderness into civilization. The vertict is: “Amazing!”. Since departing 16 days ago, 11 mountain passes and river valleys were traversed, hiking a total of 150 miles! With an average of ten miles hiked each day, in the hours from 6:30 sun up until 2-4 pm, the folks climbed and dropped 3-5 thousand feet daily, encountering some of the most beautiful terretory of our grand country.. Over every pass, a unique experience awaited. “You don’t understand the terretory until you walk it.” Majestic mountains, rushing rapids, stunning vistas of pine-covered slopes and peaceful meadows all colide into a gorgious veranda. 800 photos & a spool of video show the story.
