As the last week of winter marched a quick sprint to the weekend, the development of QUAIL reached a new milestone. After so many weeks of enhancing, revising and testing, this week we put the final touches on the underlying architecture. Specifically, the layering of methods for both QAMachine, TestStation and QA were finalized, such as the file, dir, internal, and sys functions. Once the stable code base was achieved, attention turned to the up-coming release. System tests for file methods were completed along with more unit tests, and the documentation was again reviewed. Next week the first sprint for the server group is expected to focus on QUAIL as the new testing framework. So we might actually have the service and configurator in place for an April 1st 1.1 release. Automation is made so easy with VSTS.
