A new month is Here!

The summer is in full swing and over the crest we go into August. Hurray for Hot August Nights for everyone inland from the western marina and for nice cool delta breezes for us seaside dwellers! While many last minute vacations are taken and summer retreats finished up in time for the return to school, August for brings the beginning of our favorite travel time, both locally and abroad. For when the days begin to shorten and the sun beams its warm golden rays over the fertile lands of the North, the adventure bug begins biting to be out and about. It is the time for hiking the dusty trails and camping under the watch of Orion and the heavenly host of the Milky Way. The season for picnics and barbecues with corn on the cob, zucchini frittata, water melon, and basil pesto is prime. The myriad of sports are begging to be played. With the march of Leo into the house of Virgo , the birthday season officially begins again. If you thought July was eventful and packed with excitement, just you wait. August is waiting with new surprises. Now certainly is not the time for sitting at home in the den. No, a world waits to be experienced and enjoyed. Stay tuned =)).
