Behold a transformation is at hand. The fantastic fence is finished! There’s nothing better than a bit of perfection to make an area look and feel really nice. Last November the wind forced the hand. We considered contractors but went with the do-it-yourself approach. In between the winter trips, new holes were carved out of the cement for ties; the general manager procured the new lumber; the new fence was erected; and a gorgeous flatus put the icing on the cake. The back section looked so nice that we were compelled to revisit the first section built shortly after I moved in. Today the posts were topped off and now the entire stretch is uniform and consistently appealing. Sprucing up is well timed with new neighbors arriving tomorrow. With the first tropical heat wave passing through, the evening was delightful for a barbecue.
