Today concluded the orientation class week of festivities at work with a wonderful dinner at our regular company stomping grounds. Robert and I road over together to find a packed room, the biggest turn-out ever! I was reminded of my first big orientation dinner last year, only this time we had to bring in extra seats for the 28+ who showed up. Fortunately, being by the entrance, conversation was still good. Eddie and Don, two seasoned salesmen joining this week from Houston and Mariland respectively, Paul, Paloma and I hit it off with our international and local stories. The fare was good as always and didn’t diviate at all. The kalamari and shrimp apatizer, Cesar salad, salmon and strwberry shortcake is always a winner. Just remember their lemonade is souped up with sparkles. A stellar evening out like this sure picked up my spirits after a day-long headache from last night’s goal ball game.
