The breathe of Summer is in the waning Spring air! The garden is going bananas! Or should I say, “Popping Peppers and zapping zucchinis?” Today in addition to harvesting another bundle of mint for mint water, I decided it was time to pick my first zucchini. The first one was a perfect foot long with good breadth; the second was just like the store zucchini yet a little wider. Rumor had it that a giant zucchini was hiding out in the garden patch and indeed hide well it did do. Only the observer on close examination spotted the sly fruit. Its a run-away: 2 feet long and some 4 inches wide! Looks like we’ll have to dig out zucchini 101 for all the ways to cook up all the zucchinis on the way.
