The first company sponsored baseball game featured the Athletics versus Yankies. The group dining facility is quite ideal for hosting a large group and we had our fill of baseball fare before the game began. Section 233 is a great viewing spot even with the game sold out. Unfortunately being so spread out makes a peanut gallery difficult. We kept up the cheers even when, inning after inning, the A’s struck out and Yankies scored. Singing take me out to the ballgame perked hopes for a come-back; but alas the batters struck out. A game is always best when you can cheer on both teams. Tonight the luck was not with the A’s with a final score seven zip. Fortunately the splendid fireworks timed to the Mario Brothers theme songs made up for the disappointment of the game and ended the night on a beautiful note.
