    Merry Christmas! May this day of rejoycing bring renewed hope and good tidings. After weeks of preparation leading up to this wonderful day, today we celebrate in each other’s company. A gingerbread cabbin stands proud; all the gifts are bagged; service was inspiring; now let the festivities proceed.

  • Christmas baking begins

    Christmas baking begins today with the tradditional line-up. Spritz and almond crescents were finished earlier so nutmeg sticks and sun buckles had to follow first. Then fruit soup was staged and potato pealing prepped. Tomorrow will be the lefsa frying day. Lastly come crumkaka, persimmon bread/pudding and the optional list.

  • Our Christmas Tree is now trimmed

    Our Christmas Tree is now trimmed and looking splendid in the atrium with almost all the lights and ornaments. Only the owls are taking a vacation this year, to be rebirthed into their next lives with new heads and legs.

    So as the reunions of Thanks Giving kicked off the tour, the closing morning at AAAS capped of the weeks with a scientific reunion. For both Dan from NASA and Angelique were here.
