It has been functioning flawlessly over the past year since the last memory corruption occurred (when for the first time I found null charactors popping up in the files).  This is the worst yet and rendered the unit effectively inoperable.<br \/>\nThe miracle is that \u201cinterface Rick\u201d had just posted a couple refurbished BLT2000 units on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jeremyjohansen.com\/news\/ebay\">EBay.<\/a>  Originally created by Blazie Engineering in 1995, the last version of the Braille Lite 2000 was last released in 2002 and has been sold and supported by <a href=http:\/\/www.jeremyjohansen.com\/news\/freedomscientific>Freedom Scientific<\/a> up to 2010.  For the last two years my unit has performed exceptionally (considering the edge conditions it is subjected to) Since 2010.
